INDUSTRY: Healthcare

TARGETED AUDIENCE: Lab Director

BACKGROUND & KEY OBJECTIVES:

  • Also the quantitative measurement of current average weekly test volume performs on these test kits and platform combination.
  • The study focused on the proportion of symptomatic patients who underwent antigen testing on a monthly and quarterly basis, as well as the predicted number of antigen tests received by patients.

METHODOLOGIES & APPROACH:

  • Rigorous interviews were done with hospital Lab Directors that perform SARS-CoV-2 diagnostic (PCR) testing for COVID patients and are familiar with various test kits and panels in countries across France, UK, Italy, Germany, Spain, etc.
  • The survey was designed to be quantitative, with an interview length of 20 minutes.
  • The following points were included in the survey questionnaire/discussion guide:
    • Test kits use for performing SARS-CoV-2 diagnostic (PCR) testing under the recommendation of Lab Director.
    • What platforms they used to run this test kits?
    • Monthly and quarterly test counts of symptomatic patients who undergo antigen tests at their hospital labs using these assays and panels.
  • We formed a team of primary research specialists with healthcare backgrounds.

OUR SOLUTION:

  • The study assisted the customer in understanding the existing test kits used in the EU market and the number of SARS-CoV-2 diagnostic (PCR) tests performed using these testing kits with the assistance of our team.
